Come and take part in our exciting 2-day Puppet making & characterisation workshop.
Enjoy a variety of fun drama games and exercises and, through the use of Acting Improvisations, learn about the importance of good characterisation.
You’ll then make your very own puppet (which you’ll get to keep!) and, in small groups, bring this character to life in a finished performance - created by you - to show to the rest of the group, using our specially designed Puppet Theatre!

What do I need to bring/wear?
There will be a break for a picnic lunch in the middle of each day so please provide your child with a packed lunch. With regard to clothing, all that we ask is that they wear soft shoes in order to minimize noise and to wear clothes that are OK for getting the odd drop of water-based glue!
The children love visiting this during break times to treat themselves with their pocket-money to an assortment of yummy treats! All are suitable for vegetarians. There will also be a selection of pens, pencils and other fun goodies at affordable prices!
If you're looking for great Easter holiday activities for children in Nottinghamshire we really hope that you will be able to come along to our workshop as we are sure that your child will enjoy themselves and learn lots in the process. We look forward to hopefully seeing you soon!
